Herbert was a competitor in the 2007 Incidentalist Dead Flesh Bonanza BBQ. His ostrich burgers were a smash hit, but he lost th final. A sensitive young lad, he killed himself when he learned that he had lost the gold medal.

He might have actually won if the judges had cottoned to the fact that his sausage arrangements actually reproduced Hebrew letters for various names of God.
