Triskelion ana. 1. Primaeval religious symbol composed of three interlocking spirals, representing the motion of the sun and the quotidian fluidity of life; associated with Buer, the swastika and the triquetra. 2. A three-spoked wheel usually illustrated as a cluster of whirling legs; a servo-mechanical dervish; a debilitated Johnny Cake. 3. euph. A well-endowed male (i.e., a man who makes babies through the action of a third leg).
