Triskelion ana. 1. Primaeval religious symbol composed of three interlocking spirals, representing the motion of the sun and the quotidian fluidity of life; associated with Buer, the swastika and the triquestra. 2. A three-spoked wheel usually illustrated as a cluster of whirling legs; a servo-mechanical dervish; a debilitated Johnny Cake. 3. euph. A well-endowed male (i.e., a man who makes babies through the action of a third leg).

Desiderata
- The official seal of the U.S.Department of Transportation (http://www.dot.gov/) is a white abstract triskelion figure--signifying motion--within a circular blue field. The three branches of the figure curve outward in a counter-clockwise direction.
- James Tiberius Kirk and members of his crew were once kidnapped by disembodied brains for use in gladitorial combat on which the brains, aka "Providers," could wager. Their planet was called Triskelion.
