The Pancakes of Pan was Lamenti's most famous work for chorus and orchestra. It is a tour de force of emblematic themes and tempted imagery, "vary the rhealms of the boudaire and the inferno." This most monumental of works was rarely seen due to the vigorous undertaking of production.

The selection presented here is extracted from the second prelude of the third movement and has been re-interpreted by Steven Vogeler.
