The Pancakes of Pan was Paolo Grignotti most famous work for chorus and orchestra. It is a tour de force of emblematic themes and tempting imagery, designed to "cause confusion betwixt the rhealms of the boudoir and of the inferno." This most monumental of works was rarely seen due to the massive undertaking production entailed.

The selection presented here is extracted from the second prelude of the third movement and is presented along canonical norm by Steven Vogeler.
