2005. A series of reflections on Steven Adkins' Greenbook (2004).

St. Cloud writes that the "images are less vivid, the language a bit stilted, the whole thing a bit of what we've come to expect: no Accidentalism and not much Associationalism, either."

St. Cloud, however, is generally regarded as a blow-hard of the most irritating sort; alternate critical accomodation of this highly anticipated update to the Red Book is hopefully forthcoming.

Adkins responded: "St. Cloud is just angry I called him a "vapid sot" on page 27."

A counter-riposte followed: "Your poems stink of pooh, period."

Adkins still has yet to respond.
