The AA Calendar notes monthly happenings and happenstance from the depths of AA history and lore.January
Wee-Wee was declared an independent democracy on New Year's Day, 1970.
January is a time for new beginnings, and numerous birthdays abound:
- Steven Vogeler joined Mother Earth on January 3, 1966.
February
Stimso's Day is on Sunday, February 13th and Jorge Suarez was born and died on Valentine's Day, the same day that Wee-Wee burned to the waterline.
March
Dates for March include: March 10, the day Crispus Attucks died; March 23, 1943, is the day that Beta Chimp founder Johnathan Eniad Corn took as his official B-day.
The second week of March found the Tingles on the charts with the record Tepid ... Her Pools.
In The Cutlet (1996) the First of March is, according to the sperm whale, "the speed of sound."
Although the date cannot be confirmed, Addisson and Adid met "one day in the Spring of 1940," and many have assumed this was in March.
April
April finds Flintrock's birthday and A.W. Slippers' death day on April First. The Lil' AA first ran on April Fool's Day 1961!
Creatine Panderbox was born on April 16, 1930.
According to John Titor, we can celebrate, quite early, the doting obituary of Tim Wilson that will appear in the April 2083 issue of UN Literary Marvels.
The Blackbook was finished on April 14, The Bluebook begun on the 19th.
Meanwhile, Chinese astronomers were fiercely debating whether The Plastic Tub would cross 500 pages in May or June of 2005.
May
Reticent 27 dropped like an egg on an unsuspecting world in May, 1942. Eighteen years later, on May 3, 1960, Creatine Panderbox was found dead and dangling in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, hanging by pants above a severed human ear.
On a brighter note, the First AA International Conference was also on May 3. It was 1957, and the AAers drank through Miami like a school of fish.
Our May 3 hat trick is complete with the sight of David Payne, beer in hand, celebrating his birthday.
In May, 2003, Steven Adkins hiked the Pyrenées with William Flintrock.
"500 pages!?! Them boys need a job!" - Grandmothers everywhere upon learning that The Plastic Tub hit 500 pages in May of 2005.
June
Art Doll disappeared in a [[blimp] somewhere over the Atlantic in June, 2003, ten years after Easton W. Wunderkidd dropped dead on the white sandy beaches of Sarasota, Florida.
A Dimestore Pulp was found behind a dumpster in a paper bag this month during the Second World War.
July
The Tub's first birthday is on July 23rd! July kicks off with the Dog Days, which are celebrated in AA circles with pranks and at times, fisticuffs. Heavy drinking is assumed.
In early July, 1960, clampers were disappointed by the staid Second AA International Conference. At the time, few foresaw that the seeds were being planted for The Great Schism, which split the AA right between the As during the 3rd AA International Conference five years later in Reno, Nevada.
The sight of the Pillagers dressed in Maiden-ware kissing each other shocked seventeenth century Italian Peasants. Moments later, their heads were lopped off. La Ligue d'Agenda de la Pinque and the July-enacted August Agenda began.
August
As the Dog Days wind down, we pause for a breather before the last Saturday of every August, when good eats and fun times can be found at the Incidentalist Dead Flesh Bonanza, an annual barbecue held on the American continent since the late 1960's.
Stimes Addisson made his entrance on August 12 or 13, 1920, a mid-western kid with adventures in store. More birthdays of note include:

- Yon Milhaus--August 8, 1932
- Krystine Monitzer--August 25, 1971
On a sadder note, Tommy the bookie disappeared one August night when the Feds busted into his mother's kitchen and hauled his ass off to the pen, where he (supposedly) died several years later.
September
On the 27th we pause to note the passing of Stimes Addisson. It was 1999, one helluva year. Elysius Dubord's last breath was gasped just a fortnight prior. And one week and a day earlier contemporaries were made when an Algonquin phrase spanned the globe.
Rudolph St. Cloud kissed death but emerged the victor when struck by a car in September, 2004.
We also note that resident historian, Steven Adkins, loosens the belt another notch on 9/28, his birthday.
On a literary note, The Redbook was begun on 9/1/2001, one year after the tract Why I should be Pope was penned.
October
It all took a generally violent turn when the Accidental Action was formed on the eleventh day of 1965. Smedley Wissock's released his AA report to the FBI three years later. This dark trend continued through one Koose Muniswamy Veerappan, who died a violent death on October 18, 2004.
On a lighter note, Mom Jokes were made in 1997 at the Harbor Club in Tampa.
November
